Worship at Chicago Community Mennonite Church follows a common Mennonite pattern of worship, with much singing and an emphasis on personal sharing. The tone of our worship is relatively informal, and worshippers would feel comfortable in jeans, a dress, or a nice shirt and tie.
We share communion on the last Sunday of each month. We use a communion liturgy loosely based on The Great Thanksgiving portion of a high church mass, but we are generally non-liturgical in our worship practice.
Chicago Community Mennonite Church worships at 9 a.m., with First Church of the Brethren following at 11 a.m.
